WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO</b></div>
<ul><li><div>Execute complete design specification package in PLM, including flat sketches, technical sketches, construction details, measurement specifications, appropriate tolerances, garment grading, and placement of trims, graphics, or labeling.</div>
</li><li><div>Work alongside the in-house patternmaker to ensure the sample quality matches technical specifications. This includes examining the patterns to ensure fit, balance, and construction details, as well as making sure the patternmaker understands specialized design and construction details.</div>
</li><li>Communicate with in-house and overseas vendors regarding garment specifications, including sending out tech packs, measuring samples, and size sets against approved specifications, commenting on garment fit and functionality, resubmitting garments until final graded approval, and maintaining an organized system of prototype samples.</li>
<li>Manage the style re-development process from initiation to final production approval by creating workflow tracking spreadsheets in Excel, distributing them ,and following up with all appropriate staff involved to meet calendar deadlines.</li>
<li>Conduct fit sessions on live models and/or dress forms to ensure proper fit, balance, and construction of sample garments. Bring attention to pattern or sewing changes and photograph, pin, and notate them for insertion into tech packs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with quality control, production, and outside vendors daily to develop business practices that ensure consistency and quality promptly.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional team members to review potential fit issues through high return rates and customer feedback. Order these styles from the warehouse and evaluate the fit and construction to see what improvements can be made.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Design to gain a clear design direction and consensus of fit intent. Build/maintain styles in PLM and ensure graded size and fit consistency within each brand and across product categories. Also, ensure garments are constructed with manufacturing capabilities and the company's cost specifications.</li>

<ul><li><div>Strong Technical Design experience, including knowledge of patternmaking, grading, garment construction, and large-scale manufacturing processes in overseas countries</div>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Fashion Design or Certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, Patternmaking, or equivalent.</li>
<li><b>Minimum 8+ years of experience </b>in the <b>apparel </b>industry including patternmaking and construction experience with full knowledge of production process, and timelines for Woven&rsquo;s + Cut and Sew Knits product categories.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Technical Design including construction, fit, pattern making, fabric relation to design intent, and overall improving quality of a garment for Woven&rsquo;s and Cut and Sew Knits product categories.</li>
<li>Must be proficient with knowledge and skill in commercial fit and pattern standards, corrections, grading, construction manufacturing methods, sewing, and technical drawing.</li>
