 POSITION SUMMARY:
 
 
 
 The CAD Engineering Designer will utilize AutoCAD 2025 to provide preliminary design and drafting support for Factory Engineering, focusing on Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. This role includes assisting in the preparation of supporting documents for capital investment proposals in collaboration with factory and Group Engineering teams. The CAD Drafter will need to be proficient in AutoCAD 2D, 3D, and Autodesk Inventor, enabling the creation of industrial drawings for equipment tooling, layouts, process flow sheets, P&amp;IDs, and fabrication details. Additionally, the CAD Drafter will prepare specifications to meet comprehensive design responsibilities and may work with BIM360 and AutoCAD Construction Cloud (ACC). The ability to assemble bid packages following AIA specifications and execute small projects is essential. Willingness to travel to other factory and vendor locations is required, with travel expectations of 10-20%.

 Ensure that factory key drawings are kept up-to-date and properly archived at the factory or site.

During this phase of a project, we will receive Request for Information (RFI) and Submittals (verification of items being purchased per spec). These are mainly the responsibilities of your designer based on the impact these items will have on construction. An incorrect RFI or submittal could exponentially affect a project and should be taken as seriously as design. Your main responsibilities during this are to:<ul><li>
