 What You&rsquo;ll Do

 Participate in projects from Interior Concept Design through Construction Administration

 Develop interior design concepts, space plans, finish palettes, and construction documentation using Revit, CAD, and BIM tools

 Aid in outlining and/or writing specifications sections

 Aid in development of interior renderings
 </li>

 What We&rsquo;re Looking For

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program
 </li>
 <li>
 
 3-6+ years of professional interior design experience in an architectural design firm
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience with FF&amp;E specifications and working knowledge of procurement process (preferred, not required)
 </li>
 <li>
 NCIDQ certification or actively working toward certification preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Commercial interior design experience, preferably in one or more of the following markets: Education, Workplace, Financial, Religious
 </li>

Job Description 
AECOM is seeking a dynamic Senior Interior Designer to serve as a member of the growing architecture studio in Columbus, Ohio. They will be part of AECOM&rsquo;s Building + Places team helping to support projects across a diverse set of market sectors including Education, Workplace, Healthcare, Civic/Cultural, Federal, Transportation, and Water Resources.

Responsibilities of the Designer include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Collaborate with project teams to develop the approach for project pursuits, proposals and interviews.</li><li>

Lead and drive the development of design projects, including all aspects of Interior Design.</li><li>
Lead development of design presentations and graphic visualization.</li><li>

Develop and complete full contract document sets, including floor plans, elevations, RCP, millwork, details &amp; specific schedules.</li><li>

Coordinate with consultants, including architectural, lighting, landscape, structural, MEP, AV and IT.</li><li>
Ensure continuity and consistency of design deliverables, and meet project schedules, budgets, and deadlines.</li><li>
Assist in construction administration, including responding to RFI&rsquo;s, preparing sketches and addendums, and visiting the construction site to gather information and/or prepare punch lists.</li><li>
Consult with manufacturers, research and evaluate FF&amp;E, materials and products.</li><li>
Create graphics and presentation materials, including renderings of conceptual design ideas and graphic diagrams.</li><li>

Qualifications 
Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent major</li><li>
Minimum of 6 years experience in designing commercial interior projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
10 years experience in designing commercial interior projects</li><li>
Excellent Revit and Rendering skills</li><li>
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, Enscape or other 3D modeling software</li><li>
Ability to produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permit and bid</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, lighting, and signage</li><li>
