While an 80% load is guaranteed, there is potential for additional credits. This faculty position will include seated courses on the Coon Rapids campus in wheel-throwing and Hand-building, as well as participation in discipline and division matters. The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Art Department provides a quality arts education and assists students in achieving their artistic and career goals. In addition to offering an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree, the Art Department provides opportunity to explore a variety of arts media. We contribute to the liberal arts education of all students by offering introductory studio courses in drawing, ceramics, glass, digital media, graphic design, painting, photography, and sculpture, as well as art history and art appreciation.
