A Brief Overview 
The Truss Assembler I is responsible for assembling truss components. This position will stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials and supplies. Will also band/stack finished products. 
 
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm (Saturdays 7:00am to 3:30pm if mandated by production schedule). 
 
Pay Rate: $14.00/hr. 
 
What you will do 
<ul><li>
Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up. 
<ul><li>Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.</li></ul></li><li>
Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.</li><li>
Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.</li><li>
Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns. 
<ul><li>Read shop drawings to understand stacking order when required.</li></ul></li><li>
Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed.</li><li>
Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.</li><li>
Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follows all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment.</li><li>
Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
