The IT Asset Management Analyst II provides guidance, under limited supervision, on hardware and software asset management for the global infrastructure environment. This includes, is not limited to, gathering business requirements, reviewing the current hardware and software environment, and working closely with support teams. The IT Asset Management Analyst II will provide functional support to the IT Asset Manager, the business and other support teams in hardware and software inventory compliance. The HII Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist is responsible for ensuring effective management of software licenses, compliance, and vendor relationships within the Vendor Management organization. The position involves collaboration with various internal and external teams in regards to tracking software assets, maintaining compliance, and implementing best practices for software asset management, including procedures for tracking assets within a Software Asset Management tool. The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies that optimize technology spend across the organization.</div>
