Assists Construction Manager with monitoring the homebuilding process from permitting to home delivery (and first-year warranty if required).</li><li>
Ensures adherence to the Company&rsquo;s job site compliance programs and monitors trade partner compliance with scopes of work and applicable regulations such as building codes, quality standards, environmental laws, SWPPP, and health and safety programs.</li><li>
May act as the Company&rsquo;s representative on the job site with third parties such as trade partners, customers, and government inspectors and investigators.</li><li>
Monitors daily logistics of the site to ensure various contractors work harmoniously; stages the job by determining the timing and location of material deliveries, sequencing of work and option installation, and verifying prior work is completed to the Company&rsquo;s high standards before following on work.
</li><li>Communicates with sales, purchasing, homeowners, consultants, trades, building officials, and customer care to successfully execute the homebuilding process.</li><li>

Position Qualifications</b><b>:</b></div><ul><li>
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.</li><li>
A minimum of 1 year of relevant construction experience or education is preferred.</li><li>

Compensation &amp; Benefits:</b></div><ul><li><b>
Base Salary</b>: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $32.16 to $44.38 per hour, equivalent to $66,900 to $92,300 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.</li><li><b>
Bonus</b>: This position is eligible for a quarterly performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company&rsquo;s applicable incentive plan document.</li><li><b>

</p><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p>
<ul>
<li>Inspect each home daily to assure the quality of workmanship, ensure all work is in accordance with plans and specifications, determine the status as it compares to the production schedule</li>
<li>Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors</li>
<li>Walk each completed home before the homeowner walk-through and closing sign-off to ensure the home is complete, clean, and meets standards of quality. Note outstanding homeowner walk-through items and schedule repairs</li>
<li>Conduct homeowner orientation and any additional walks ensuring homeowner satisfaction</li>
<li>Aid Superintendent to ensure subcontractors are managed and continually evaluated on quality, safety, scheduling and cost control measures</li>
<li>Enforce the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with company standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations</li>
<li>Enforce DR Horton cleanliness standards &ndash; Ensure communities and jobsites are free of trash &amp; waste materials.</li>
<li>Assist Superintendent in managing construction materials to help prevent damage, waste, &amp; theft</li>
<li>Support the construction schedule and ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget</li>
<li>Provide a superior level of customer service during all phases of construction
</li><li>Develop and maintain positive relations with subcontractors and homeowners</li>
<li>Develop knowledge in building codes, construction materials, methodologies, terminology and construction scheduling</li>
<li>In absence of Superintendent, ensure all schedules, policies, and guidelines are maintained</li>
<li>Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company</li>
<li>Ability to work overtime</li>
<li>Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business needs</li></ul></div><p></p><div><b><br>
Qualifications</b><div></div><p><b><br>
Education and/or Experience</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</li>
<li>Six months to 2 years of related experience</li>
<li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license and be willing to drive among construction sites in daytime and nighttime</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills
</li><li>Commitment to customer satisfaction
</li><li>Ability to read plans and other construction documents</li>
<li>Require minimum supervision and ability to create a systematic approach in carrying out assignments</li>
<li>Ability to converse with customers, all levels of management and personnel</li>
<li>Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop</li>
<li>Proficiency with MS Office and email</li>
<li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li></ul><br>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a four-year college preferred</li>
