The Assistant Designer provides operational support to the Design team in the creation and execution of a line. The Assistant Designer researches relevant trends, maintains the organization of the design office, communicates with the cross functional team (Merchandising, Production, Graphics), and assists the team in preparation for all milestone meetings..
 
Position Responsibilities:

<li>Create sketches of styles in development.</li>
<li>Maintain logs for sample tracking and update CBS sheets</li>
<li>Maintain seasonal collection boards and walls.</li>
<li>Execute organized, accurate technical packages.</li>
<li>Create and update flat technical sketches for design tech packs.</li>

<li>Shop the market on a regular basis for ideas and inspiration.</li>
<li>Prepare presentation materials for weekly and milestone meetings; garment samples, line sheets, CBS sheets</li>
<li>Research and identify trends that are relevant to the Brands customer.</li>
<li>Create inspiration boards for seasonal trends</li>
<li>Support design presentation prep for cross-functional and external meetings when needed</li>
<li>Assist with color and fabric development (including tracking submits and approvals)</li>
<li>Help maintain a seasonal competitive market matrix (silhouettes, trends, etc.)</li>
<li>Keep digital assets organized and up-to-date across shared folders/PLM</li>
<li>Support line planning in partnership with merchandising (especially for different channels like core/fashion/digital)</li>
<li>Help track samples, manage incoming packages, and coordinate with production partners</li>

Position Requirements:
