<p>Our client, a leading organization driving large-scale <b>infrastructure and public works projects</b> across Qatar, is seeking an accomplished <b>Engineering Director</b> to lead the overall engineering function for complex, multi-disciplinary developments.</p><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>The <b>Engineering Director</b> will oversee and manage all engineering activities across <b>civil, infrastructure, roads, drainage, and MEP disciplines</b>, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence, quality, and compliance with local authority requirements. This is a senior strategic role requiring strong leadership, technical depth, and experience managing large teams and stakeholders on government or PWA (Ashghal) projects.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provide strategic direction and leadership across all engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards.</li><li>Oversee design management, technical reviews, and value engineering initiatives across major infrastructure programs.</li><li>Drive integration between civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project delivery.</li><li>Collaborate with government authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance, efficiency, and technical excellence.</li><li>Manage budgets, resources, and performance metrics to achieve high-quality and timely delivery.</li><li>Mentor and develop engineering teams to build technical capability and succession strength.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li><b>18&ndash;20 years of experience</b> in <b>engineering management</b> with at least <b>8&ndash;10 years in a senior leadership role</b>.</li><li>Proven expertise in <b>large-scale infrastructure, public works, and government projects</b>, ideally within <b>PWA (Ashghal)</b> or similar organizations.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge across <b>civil, infrastructure, roads, drainage, and MEP</b>.</li><li><b>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</b> in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; <b>Master&rsquo;s degree</b> preferred.</li><li><b>Arabic speaking</b>; bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English) is required.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li><b>Preference for candidates in Qatar with NOC.</b></li></ul><p><b>Why Join</b></p><p>This is an exceptional opportunity to play a leading role in shaping Qatar&rsquo;s ongoing infrastructure transformation, contributing to nationally significant developments and delivering projects that define urban and community progress.</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: QAR40,000.00 - QAR50,000.00 per month</p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>engineering management: 10 years (Required)</li><li>large-scale infrastructure : 10 years (Required)</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>Arabic (Required)</li></ul><p>Location:</p><ul><li>Doha (Required)</li></ul>
