The Retail Assistant Manager is a vital member to the location Team and serves in the role of the Manager on Duty (MOD), and as a result, at times; is responsible for overall management of location.

  The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for confirming the integrity of location inventory, including appropriate tracking, take with&rsquo;s and inventory accounting processes&rsquo; and validates merchandise is tagged and staged to achieve optimum sales levels at all times. The Retail Assistant Manager enforces safety, and all other policies and procedures and takes immediate action to report and correct violations. The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for the continuous maintenance of the facility, as well as, validates the Showroom is customer ready at all times.

  The Retail Assistant Manager will recruit, hire and train direct report associates, developing and maintaining a TEAM focused on delivering The Bob&rsquo;s Way to customers; while ensuring departments are staffed and scheduled at all times to meet business needs and Company objectives. The Retail Assistant Manager conducts regular department meetings to review progress and keep associates abreast of Company initiatives.

  The Retail Assistant Manager will complete annual reviews in a timely manner and continually assesses the performance of associates and support staff working to promote productivity and efficiency. The Retail Assistant Manager will partner with Store and Human Resource Management to evaluate, recommend and execute appropriate employee discipline and is responsible for all new associate orientations in accordance with established Company guidelines.

Manage team performance to ensure your caf&eacute;&rsquo;s goals and quality standards are met, while ensuring extraordinary customer service.</li><li>
Coach your managers and associates on certain responsibilities and delegate those responsibilities to them.</li><li>
Recognize &amp; celebrate individual &amp; team achievements.</li></ul></li><li>
Ensure high-quality operations &amp; service.</li><li><ul><li>
Make sure Panera&rsquo;s standards of excellence are always maintained &ndash; and continually improved &ndash; at your bakery-caf&eacute;.</li><li>
Motivate your team to meet (and exceed) your bakery-caf&eacute;&rsquo;s goals.</li><li>
Adhere to caf&eacute; systems and processes to accomplish day-to-day operations.</li><li>
Ensure food safety standards are fully maintained.</li><li>
Ensure a healthy &amp; safe culture and workplace for your team.</li></ul></li><li>
Grow sales &amp; maximize profitability.</li><li><ul><li>
Execute company &amp; caf&eacute; strategies for sales growth and flow-through.</li><li>
Manage associate labor to support and drive caf&eacute; profitability.</li><li>
Assist your GM in maintaining caf&eacute; costs &amp; inventory.</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>

You can work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. (Open availability)</li><li>
You&rsquo;re committed to, and experienced with, health and food safety.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re interested in working toward a General Manager position and/or you want to learn, grow, and expand your career.</li><li>
You have a proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others.</li><li>
You have a proven ability to run great shifts.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re able to pass a drug screen and background check.</li><li>
You have 1-2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience.</li><li>
You have reliable transportation. (Valid license &amp; insurance is a plus!)</li></ul><p><b>
