Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Machine Operator to support machine operations and production activities. The candidate will work closely with the Team Leader and Machine Operator to ensure smooth production flow, quality compliance, and timely completion of jobs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Report directly to the Team Leader.</li><li>Assist machine operators in feeding raw materials into machines as instructed.</li><li>Operate machines under the guidance of the Team Leader/Machine Operator.</li><li>Report machine-related issues or breakdowns immediately to the Team Leader.</li><li>Move production output to the next process line or work-in-progress area as instructed.</li><li>Maintain and fill production records accurately.</li><li>Ensure cards and packaging labels are properly matched and kept in sequence.</li><li>Follow job instructions and counting procedures during receipt, production, and transfer processes.</li><li>Assist operators in completing production jobs on time and as per the production plan.</li><li>Update job progress and report non-conformances or production issues.</li><li>Follow all procedures related to production, rejection handling, and documentation.</li><li>Ensure proper handling, identification, and storage of cards and rejected materials.</li><li>Coordinate with QA inspectors, auditors, and team leaders to maintain quality and productivity standards.</li><li>Support implementation of new processes and procedures.</li><li>Follow all company policies related to safety, security, quality, and operational standards.</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by the Unit Head or Team Leader.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>ITI or High School Pass.</li><li>Physically fit to handle pallets, trolleys, and heavy materials.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li>Good teamwork and communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to follow procedures and instructions carefully.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Basic understanding of production or machine operations.</li><li>Attention to detail and quality standards.</li><li>Ability to maintain production records accurately.</li></ul>Minimum Experience: &bull; 1-2 years of experience or fresher with ITIPay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Diploma (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

DEFINITION
To participate in the performance of a variety of semi-skilled tasks related to the power plant operation and power plant maintenance.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives general supervision from the Power Plant Chief Operator or Power Plant Shift Operator or Power Plant Assistant Operator.
Exercises no supervision.
ESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL FUNCTION STATEMENTS - Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of the Electric Utility Power Plant.</li><li>
Assist in the performance of tests on water in boilers, softeners and towers; adds chemicals determined from routine lab tests.</li><li>
Assist and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment including checking oil levels, motors, pump and fan operations.</li><li>
Assist maintenance technicians and other personnel in plant maintenance.</li><li>
Operate various equipment including computer, overhead crane, bucket trucks, drill press, band saw, cutting torch, welder, pipe threading machine, variety of lab equipment, and various hand tools.</li><li>
Ensure the adherence to safe work practices, policies and procedures of plant operations by assigned staff.</li></ul>
Marginal Functions:<ul><li>
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.</li></ul>
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
Basic power plant system design, maintenance and repair.
Basic procedures and techniques essential to maintenance and operation of electric generating equipment.
Occupational hazards and applicable safety precautions.
Basic accounting and mathematical principles.
Procedures, methods and techniques of record keeping.
Pertinent Federal, State and Local laws, codes and regulations.
Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment.

Experience:

Training:

License or Certificate
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid State of Kansas Drivers License
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid C.P.R. Certificate.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid First Aid Certificate.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions:
