NewsNation is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented Associate Producer to join the team for the network&rsquo;s nightly program Jesse Weber Live. The ideal candidate excels at research, and production and is passionate about news and content. The role requires late night hours. The position is based at the network offices in New York.</div><div><br>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<br>
Makes graphics requests when needed<br>
Writes editorial copy<br>
Assist in preparing and executing live correspondent hits or guests segments<br>
Fill-in as newscast line producer when assigned<br>
Perform other tasks as assigned by show leaders or news management</div><div>
Requirements &amp; Skills:</div><div>
Three to five year's experience in national or major-market television news</div><div>
BA/BS degree or equivalent degree in journalism or related field</div><div>
Strong writing skills required</div><div>
Ability to create dynamic graphic and video elements</div><div>
Must be self-directing, self-motivating and able to work will with a diverse group of people</div><div>
Interact well with on-air talent, news managers, videographers, production, digital and engineering staff</div><div>
Detail-oriented</div><div>
Excellent verbal, written, grammar and analytical skills</div><div>
Exhibit strong news judgment</div><div>
Handle stress, including short deadlines</div><div>
Work at a computer for extended periods of time</div><div>
Must be able to work assigned shifts including late nights</div><div>
Salary Range: $60,000 - $66,300</div><div></div><div>
