We are now looking for an &quot;Associate Scientist&quot; to be a member of our Research &amp; Development Department. The R&amp;D team is the Business Partner and first point of contact for marketing and sales organisation and supply chain for all technical/ R&amp;D related activities. The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support in all day to day activities and projects. 
 
Responsibilities of the ideal candidate will include:</div><ul><li>
Own Industrial solution (IS) formula including products that are used in IWT, Mining, Geothermal and O&amp;G (oil &amp; gas) industries for compliance and product managment.</li><li>
Performing product and raw material physical-chemical analysis according to project and customer needs</li><li>
Develop product formulations as per project requirements and make development reports</li><li>
Coordinate and collaborate with our application laboratories / formulations worldwide and the field application teams for the performance testing of formulations and other R&amp;D activities</li><li>
Performing benchmark studies and reverse engineering to evaluate competitor products.</li><li>
Deliver profitability improvement projects through formulation and supply/ sourcing &amp; marketing initiatives</li><li>
Doing literature research</li><li>
Taking care of day to day lab operations and giving support in dealing with customer complaints</li><li>
Taking part in local and global projects, including lab work as well as liaising with other internal departments</li><li>
