Rounding on patients coming for hemodialysis as both in patient and out patient.</li><li>
Performance of all dialysis catheters under supervision till resident is certified by the program director to place catheters independently. Observation and assistance in renal biopsy procedures.</li><li>
Most consultations for the Nephrology consult Service are first answered by the resident and presented to the attending. The resident is expected to take a history, review previous medical records, examine the patient, analyze all pertinent investigation and then formulate and document a detailed assessment and list of recommendations.</li><li>
