Associate Auction Coordinator

The Territory: Harrisonburg, VA and surrounding areas but expect to drive up to 2 hours to county courthouse auctions in surrounding areas as needed. This can vary based on scheduling opportunities and your skill set. A rental car will be provided for travel outside of primary territory.
 
The Schedule: As an Associate Auction Coordinator, your Area/State manager will assign you daily auctions, depending on scheduling needs, so you’ll need to have a flexible and adaptable schedule. Live auctions take place Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additionally, there will be required training sessions in person and via Zoom, team calls, and available resources to provide opportunities to improve skills while earning additional compensation. Each auction day typically requires anywhere from 3 - 4 hours of work. On average, you will work between 6 – 10 hours weekly, however, hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed.

As an Associate Auction Coordinator, you will contribute to various functions of auctions and events. Hess Auctioneers, LLC is looking to add an experienced Administrative Assistant to our team. Auction/Title work experience preferred but will train for this position. Notary license not required but obtainable within 90 days of starting. This is a Full Time position for Monday - Friday 40 hours/week for FT position. Some half day Saturdays will be necessary around Auction Dates.The Admin Assistant demonstrates professionalism, politeness, and friendliness to our clients by ensuring that their needs are met. It is important to be detail-oriented.JOB TASKS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>Complete the data entry and office tasks in accordance with company guidelines.</li><li>Provide accurate, friendly quality service to customers when processing customer transactions.</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:<ul><li>Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, etc.</li><li>Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages, as needed.</li><li>Compile, copy, sort, and file documents of consignments</li><li>Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, voice mail systems and personal computers.</li><li>Maintain and update filing, inventory, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.</li><li>Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.</li><li>Compile information needed for various reports and assist in coordinating project-oriented duties.</li><li>Stock in/check in consignments.</li><li>Assist with Accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Loan Payoffs, Expense Tracking</li><li>Provide prompt and courteous service at all times.</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
