Qualifications:

Essential Functions: Transports patients in a safe and professional manner Assures vehicles are clean and in working order. Responsible for cleaning of inside of van utilizing appropriate chemicals between patients. Communicates with various hospital staff in order to receive relevant data and instructions. Inspects vehicle prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport. Reports vehicle concerns timely. Assists with transferring and balancing patients. Ensures patients&rsquo; physical and overall comfort. Follows all patient safety and vehicle safety requirements. Responsible for knowing what PPE to apply to patient and driver prior to transport. Notifies proper staff regarding changes in condition or behavior of patient. May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.
