Summary/Objective:The Automation Engineer Level 2 builds on the foundational knowledge of automation, controls, and electrical engineering to independently complete small or simple engineering tasks. The level 2 engineer is developing broad knowledge and skills through guided experience. The level 2 engineer may be responsible for small scale projects, building understanding of business needs, time and resource management, and project management.Essential Functions:(This description is not all inclusive, other duties may be assigned):<ul><li>Assist the senior controls engineers in conceptual design and project scoping, translating customer design requirements into design specifications and control strategies</li><li>Perform controls system design, programming, simulation, and testing of simple custom automation equipment.  who will be responsible for the end to end engineering, quotation, and technical clarification of customized pre wired distribution boards (PWDB), with a strong focus on Bidmanager / EPLAN based engineering and digitalized engineering workflows.
 
 
 The role is a key contributor to Eaton&rsquo;s LV Digital Journey, working at the interface between customer requirements, engineering standards, manufacturing constraints, and digital engineering platforms (Bidmanager, EPLAN P8, Pro Panel, EEC). In addition to traditional quotation and application engineering activities, the role plays a critical supporting function for the EEC Developer, ensuring that engineering logic, macros, and data are fit for automated and rule based engineering.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 
 EPLAN Engineering &amp; Macro Development
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Create and maintain engineering drawings using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel.

 Develop and maintain standardized macros (electrical schematics and layout design) to support repeatability and reuse.
 </li>

 Ensure macros are structured, documented, and compliant with Eaton engineering standards.

 4+ years of experience in planning and engineering of customized pre wired distribution boards.
