About the job you&rsquo;re considering</p><p>
We are seeking an experienced Auto Functional Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in POS Testing, Functional Testing, and API Testing, along with hands-on experience in Agile methodology and Database Testing. This role involves designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.</p><p>
Your role</p><ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.</li><li>
Execute functional, POS, and API tests using tools like Postman.</li><li>
Perform database testing and data validation using SQL Server.</li><li>
Review code for testability and maintainability.</li><li>
Debug issues and identify root causes in both test and production environments.</li><li>
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.</li><li>
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.</li><li>
Ensure adherence to CI/CD processes and contribute to pipeline setup.</li><li>
Work on test automation for web applications using tools like Robot Framework, Eggplant, or Selenium.</li><li>
Maintain test cases and execution in ADO (Azure DevOps).</li></ul><p>
Your skills and experience</p><ul><li>
7+ years in Experience in Agile Functional tester</li><li>
Experience in Agile, API testing, Data Base testing(SQL Server) is required</li><li>
Technical skills:<ul><li>
Programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript</li><li>
Test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress</li><li>
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps</li></ul></li><li>
Understanding of software architecture and APIs (REST, GraphQL)</li><li>
Knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation</li><li>
Good to have<ul><li>

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $65,200 - $158,550.</p><p>
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.</p><p>
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.</p><p>
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.</p><p>
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.</p><p>
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.</p><p>
