Position Summary
The Automotive Painter is responsible for performing advanced prep and paint work on custom-manufactured trailers, vehicles and displays. This intermediate position requires expertise in automotive painting techniques, surface preparation, and finish ensuring a high-quality product as well as a greater degree of autonomy in performing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive or industrial painting, strong attention to detail, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks.
This work environment is dynamic and versatile in nature, where employees are expected to wear multiple hats and handle a variety of tasks. We are hiring a detail-oriented Product Preparation Specialist to ensure our Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) attachments are showroom-ready before shipment to dealership partners.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Inspect CCE attachments and identify cosmetic damage or areas requiring touch-up</li>
<li>Perform paint touch-ups and refinishing to ensure attachments are in showroom-ready condition</li>
<li>Assist with light assembly and minor repairs as needed</li>
<li>Prepare attachments so they leave our facility looking their best&mdash;ready for display and sale.</li>
</ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work</li>
<li>Experience with paint booths, spray equipment, or automotive/equipment touch-up is helpful</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light assembly or basic repairs</li>
<li>Ability to inspect products and identify cosmetic or minor mechanical issues</li>
<li>Ability to work safely in a shop or manufacturing environment</li>
