Automotive Collision Repair Parts SpecialistJob Summary<ul><li>The sole responsibility for this job is to order the correct parts needed by VIN and scan into CCC1 either OEM or Aftermarket to repair damaged vehicles. Phone calls and OE connect, Part Trader, OPSTRAX orders and verify parts numbers are correct on invoices and inspecting the new parts when they arrive to make sure they are not damaged or the wrong part. This is a fast paced, multi-tasking professional job that requires a person that can manage time and enjoys working with Estimators and Technicians, creating and maintain relationships. Description: 
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Parts Sales Specialist. The Parts Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting all customers and technicians in securing needed parts and supplies. Will also be accountable for achieving the monthly sales and gross profit forecasts, and for seeking and soliciting parts sales.
 <ul>
<li>Works with customers, outside salespersons and technicians to fill parts requirements with general supervision.</li>
<li>Prepares invoices for all over the counter sales and bills parts to repairs orders that are issued to the shops.</li>
<li>Assists in maintaining stock levels, receiving and shipping parts, and in issuing local purchase orders.</li>
<li>Maintains a favorable relationship with customers by addressing their needs and issues in a timely manner. Escalates customer issues to supervisor when needed.</li>
<li>Maintains a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse.</li>
<li>Enters all lost sales into the inventory system so that proper inventory items and levels can be maintained.</li>
<li>Follows safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary. Ensures proper safety, care, and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. Reports any damage to company equipment or property immediately to supervisor.</li>
<li>Assists with inventory management related activities as directed by supervisor.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li>

<div>The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed.
Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, accurately looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
Responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, accepting cash and/or checks, accurately making change, and processing credit card transactions.
Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
Assist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
Perform various daily operational tasks, i.e., prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped to the distribution center, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.
Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.
Perform various in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow) - (i.e.; install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc.)
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.
All other duties as assigned.
