The Automotive Channel Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth and fostering strong partnerships within the automotive industry. This position is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with regional and national distributors. The role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the Automotive Channel.
 
Responsibilities of the role include: 
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary contact and liaison with assigned major accounts within the assigned channel.</li>
<li>Work with national and key regional customers in the assigned channel. Must maintain an excellent understanding of the business within the assigned market segment.</li>
<li>Orchestrate field efforts on programs established at each account by working with the Director of Channel Sales to ensure program execution and desired results.</li>
<li>Create and sustain relationships with influential decision makers at each account by compiling a comprehensive understanding of each account's culture, key personnel, and direction.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain relationships with key buying end user customers to support pull-through sales.</li>
<li>Execute strategies/programs that will maximize sales while upholding our margins with our key accounts. Ensure that both short- and long-term strategies are developed and updated on a frequent basis focusing on significant opportunities.</li>
<li>Maintain and update distributor displays, adding new products, additional SKU’s</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications
 <ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree required, plus three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales team management or national account responsibility. Master's Degree preferred.</li>
<li>Multi-year experience in sales forecasting, successful consulting, developing sales programs, and promotions is preferred.</li>
<li>Must project an image with accounts that emanates professionalism, competence, credibility, and integrity.</li>
<li>Individual possesses a high degree of people and presentation skills, a sense of urgency, and adept at the art of negotiations.</li>
<li>Must have versatility and flexibility in adjusting to changing business needs and priorities, and strong communications skills, verbal and written.</li>
<li>This includes basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li>
<li>Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization</li>

Physical Demand Requirements

This role has an annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $100,000–$120,000. Actual earnings may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to performance, experience, and location.
