<p>As a Generator rebuild and HVAC Technician, the work you&rsquo;ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Worldwide Field Support contract for the U.S. Army. You&rsquo;ll play a crucial role in providing on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzing complex technical problems, and providing training to site operations and maintenance personnel.</p>
<ul><li>Perform overhaul, maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 50\60\400hz generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and repair alternating current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units &ndash; some are standalone units and others are mounted on trailers and vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment; military spec generators and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operate a Load bank and dynometer during testing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.</li></ul>

<div><p>The <b>Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician</b> serves as focal point for all logistics and repair functions for all supplied ALSE, first aid kits and Night Vision Devices.</p><p></p><p><b>
Principal Accountabilities</b></p><ul>

   Minimum 5 years in a maintenance leadership or management role.

   Extensive experience supporting deep drilling land rigs (3000HP, HPHT and high-capacity drilling operations).

   Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams in multicultural Middle East operations.

   Strong working knowledge of international drilling standards and OEM maintenance practices.

   Excellent understanding of well control equipment reliability and operational risk management.

   Ability to minimize downtime while maintaining the highest safety standards.

<p>Perform 3KW &ndash; 150 KW maintenance to include EPP III Engine, Main Gen, and Control Panel overhaul, troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on all types of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army.</p>

<p></p><p><b>MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT</b></p>
<p>As a Generator rebuild and HVAC Technician, the work you&rsquo;ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Worldwide Field Support contract for the U.S. Army. You&rsquo;ll play a crucial role in providing on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzing complex technical problems, and providing training to site operations and maintenance personnel.</p>
<ul><li>Perform overhaul, maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 50\60\400hz generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and repair alternating current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units &ndash; some are standalone units and others are mounted on trailers and vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment; military spec generators and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operate a Load bank and dynometer during testing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Some work will be in a generator shop environment, and some work will be in a field environment.</li></ul>

<ul><li><b>Experience:</b> BA/BS plus 2 years&rsquo; experience, AA/AS/plus 4 years&rsquo; experience, or a High School diploma and 7 years&rsquo; experience</li></ul>
<ul><li><b>Technical skills:</b> Extensive diesel engine rebuild and generator experience. Knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear. Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant.</li></ul>
