The Common Platform Hardware (CPH) department in Military Avionics and Helicopters (MA&amp;H) has an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This department is responsible for the development and sustainment of state-of-the-art avionics hardware products including integrated processing cabinets, displays, video processing modules, and control panels used in military fighter, fixed wing, and rotary wing aircraft platforms.
Our products employ the following technologies and interfaces; Airborne Electronic Hardware (including FPGA, CPLD, ASICs), embedded processing resources (PowerPC, Intel, and ARM), avionics interfaces (including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, I2C, SPI, Ethernet), video interfaces (including SMPTE, analog, DVI, DisplayPort).
Responsibilities include ruggedized mission computer and display level product development, circuit card and sub-level module development, product qualification, product transition, and product sustainment over the life cycle of the design. The Senior Electrical Engineer also has opportunities for project engineer and control account management (PE/CAM), and has high expectations for leadership within a design team, and communication to our internal and external customers.
This role is specifically to work KC-46 VRCU and VPU Integration activities followed by other Boeing computer efforts with the DPC product line. The senior engineer will have responsibilities that include lead more junior engineers in integration and qual preparation and testing, collaborating with at least three other team leads (project engineering, over design lead, and cert lead), support platform and equipment systems request for trouble-shooting support and root causing failures that occur during testing.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate&rsquo;s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

 Your Tasks:

 Ensure that aircraft maintenance is performed to the highest standards and at all times in compliance with applicable and approved data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in &ldquo;On-the-job&rdquo; training of mechanics and trainees in the performance of their duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the upkeep and update of Company issued IT such as IPADs &amp; onboard carried mobile phones.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the written and verbal communication of information from his shift to the succeeding shift to ensure a satisfactory level of continuity and safety with regard to work in progress (or pending) with respect to aircraft, equipment, personnel and safety.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be responsible for requisitioning of parts from stores, assuring serviceability of parts, completion of appropriate tags, return of parts to stores and assuring that required forms and documents are properly completed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and Manage the ETL as end users including the procedure to print in the event of ETL failure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all maintenance related documentation is properly actioned and completed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep up-to-date on all applicable regulations, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer&rsquo;s service letters and other pertinent publications.

 <li>
 Responsible for the completion of mandatory trainings on a quarterly basis such as Continuation Training , SFAR 88 Fuel Tank safety &amp; Human Factors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Shall ensure that safety precautions and safe practices are adhered to and practiced by those personnel under his direction. Reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Line Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 The reporting of safety risks during flights at outstations through the Trip Reporting &amp; QPULSE systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that company owned and/or operated maintenance and ground support equipment is operated and maintained in safe and operable condition. All GSE defects to be documented and reported to the GSE mechanic.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible to keep up to date with roster change notifications from the AIMs system even on days off.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all line maintenance areas are kept in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Will be required to act on behalf of Line Supervisor or Line Manager as required.
 </li>

 Inputting of all relevant aircraft Tech Log and Work Order information including component changes into the TRAX computer maintenance program

 Your Profile:

 Must have a minimum of 10 years aircraft maintenance experience, excluding apprenticeship or basic training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a licensed, certifying, and company-approved B2 Avionics engineer, preferably on the Boeing Aircraft
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to communicate assertively, effectively and diplomatically with flight crew, flight dispatchers, ground handling personnel and senior management, as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License or ICAO Type 2 License, with endorsement in Boeing 767 Aircraft.
