Who Are We Looking For?
Mobiz is hiring a skilled Backend Developer to build and maintain the robust backend systems that power our applications. You will leverage your expertise in Python, web frameworks like Fast API and Django, and familiarity with Microsoft Azure AI to develop APIs, services, and functionalities that ensure a seamless user experience.

Backend Developer will work on architecture, infrastructure and functionality on the server that allows front end (User interface) to interact with the database and carry out different functions. 


Key Responsibilities

<li>Design, develop, and implement powerful backend systems using Python and web frameworks (Fast API, Django).</li>
<li>Create and maintain well-documented, scalable, and secure APIs for data access and manipulation.</li>
<li>Develop and integrate functionalities that interact with Microsoft Azure services and AI tools.</li>
<li>Collaborate with front-end developers and data scientists to ensure smooth integration across different layers of the application.</li>
<li>Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization of backend code.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.</li>
<li>Write clean code to develop functional web applications, troubleshoot and debug applications.</li>
<li>Perform UI tests to optimize performance.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.</li>
<li>Gather and address technical and design requirements.</li>
<li>Provide training and support to internal teams.</li>
<li>Build reusable code and libraries for future use.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues to ensure application stability and uptime.</li>
<li>Stay up to date with the latest advancements in backend development tools and technologies.</li></ul> 


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master&rsquo;s degree (Computer Science or related field)</li>
<li>2 - 5 years of experience in backend development using Python.</li>
<li>Fluency in English is mandatory</li></ul> 


Skills

<li>In-depth knowledge of web development concepts (RESTful APIs, HTTP methods).</li>
<li>Proficiency in a web framework like Fast API or Django (experience with both is a plus).</li>
<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its services.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI tools (experience with Cognitive Services or Machine Learning APIs is a plus).</li>
<li>Experience with database technologies (e.g. Postgre SQL, MySQL) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)</li>

<li>Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient and maintainable code.</li>
