A Baggage Supervisor works at an airport facility and oversees the Baggage Handling operation.</div><div></div><div><br>
Responsibilities include oversight of the Baggage operation to ensure that all passengers requiring assistance are in a manner that exceeds expectations. This position may also include assisting with moving luggage at the check-in counter. Baggage Supervisors must maintain a friendly and positive attitude and always be attentive to each passenger&rsquo;s individual needs.Communicating effectively and clearly. Asking each passenger the safety and security questions</div><div></div><div><br>
This hands on position is physically demanding and requires on-the-job security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.</div><br>

The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. </p><ul><li><p>$17.50 - $19.50 / hour
</p></li><li><p>1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift available - will be required to work weekends -

</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:
</p><ul><li><p>Oversees on-road service by tracking trip performance measures, route began on time, performance, incidents, etc.
</p></li><li><p>Provides customer support by responding to questions/concerns regarding schedules, lost items, timing, and general service challenges. Assists passengers in need, and with loading/unloading of baggage from the bus.
</p></li><li><p>Assists in emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between drivers, management, and emergency services.
</p></li><li><p>Reconcile physical passenger counts and electronic count from the bus systems if equipped.
</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned by General Manager or Direct Supervisor
</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications:
</p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent
</p></li><li><p>Valid driver's license
</p></li><li><p>Technical degree preferred
</p></li><li><p>ADA knowledge
</p></li><li><p>2 years customer service experience
</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal, interpersonal skills, email, and phone skills
</p></li><li><p>Excellent customer service skills &amp; problem solving skills
</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
</p></li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:
</p><ul><li><p>Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
</p></li><li><p>The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
</p></li><li><p>Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
