Position Summary
 Pick up and deliver various materials to required location.
 Responsibilities
 Pick up and deliver various materials to off-site subsidiaries, entities and affiliates.
 
Pick up Postal mail from US Postal Office and deliver to mail room. Checks affiliates post office boxes daily. Delivers correspondence and items to all entities.
 
Sorts for delivery all mail and in-house correspondence for subsidiaries and affiliates. Delivery of mail/supplies for main building.
 
Delivers prescription medications from Pharmacy and delivers to entities and affiliates.
 
Picks up bank bag from First Citizens Bank and delivers to Financial Services.
 
Picks up and delivers diagnostic lab samples to and from entities and affiliates.
 
Picks up bank deposits and delivers to Financial Services.
 
Delivers correspondence to various physician offices, financial institutions, attorney offices, Federal/State offices including subsidiaries.
 
Brings items to Receiving.
 
Picks up lab specimens for delivery to state courier service pick up location.
 
Picks up and delivers miscellaneous medical equipment.
 
Picks up and delivers admissions records. from
 
Twice daily deliveries including printing, forms, copier supplies, stock items, non-stock items, dietary items, pharmacy items, and mail to campus locations.
 Minimum Requirements
 High School or equivalent is required.
 
More than 0 less than 3.9 years of service.
 
Valid NC Driver's License is required.
 
Basic training in PeopleSoft and automated inventory systems in regard to inventory is preferred. Basic training in
 
MicroSoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the organization's email system is preferred.
 
Responsible experience in material handling, distribution, inventory management or related experience is preferred.
 
Additional years of experience may be substituted for the required education.
 Pay Range
 $16.00 - $18.76
 Other Information
 Shift Expectations: third shift position with every other weekend. Weekday shifts 5:00 PM-2:00 AM, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM, and 12:00 PM-9:00 PM. Employees will rotate between routes as needed.Weekend shifts are 6:30 PM-2:00 AM or 6:30 PM-12:00 AM.

Work Schedule: Full-time. This position floats between all shifts and starts as early as 6:30am - 4:00pm and ends as late as 3:00pm - 12:30am. overtime and rotating weekends may be required.
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups</li><li>
Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner</li><li>
Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift</li><li>
Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner</li><li>
Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws</li><li>
Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up</li><li>
Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed</li><li>
Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>

2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience, within a medical or laboratory company.</li><li>
