Position Summary
An Assistant Banking Center Manager is responsible for delivering an excellent experience to current and potential customers. Perform managerial duties of facility in the absence of the Banking Center Manager. Provides friendly greeting to customers in the lobby, on the &quot;teller line,&quot; drive-thru or over the phone.</li><li>
Efficiently and accurately processes basic transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, etc.) while safeguarding against fraud.</li><li>
Issues money orders, cashier's checks and redeems savings bonds.</li><li>
Follows all applicable policies, procedures, regulatory rules, and guidelines. Stays up to date with changes.</li><li>
Researches and politely assists with customer inquiries, provides account statements, assists with check orders, accepts change of address requests, and performs other customer-oriented functions with the intent of enhancing customer retention and exploring additional sales opportunities.</li><li>
Able to identify correct product types through needs-based questioning to sell products/services or make referrals to other departments, bank affiliates/partners to build and deepen customer relationships.</li><li>

As a Branch Manager, you are responsible for management of the branch; leading all facets of sales, service and operations of the branch; coaching on existing processes, leading the team in achieving budgeted production goals, acquiring new consumer and business customers; initiating referrals to partners, and deepening all existing customer relationships proactively driving business inside and outside of the branch; and responsible for consistent business development and calling program.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Managing portfolio of high value consumer and business customers. Leads the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to meet customer needs, deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships pursuant to OCR guidelines for the branch.
</li><li>Leading team to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
</li><li>Leveraging available tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities.
</li><li>Maintaining knowledge and educates team on all products, services, technology and policies.
</li><li>Maintaining active involvement in the community, and develops key business and community relationships.
</li><li>Developing key internal partnerships to drive business in market area.
</li><li>Actively overseeing the recruitment / hiring process ensuring assigned market is staffed with colleagues suitable for Huntington&rsquo;s culture.
</li><li>Garnering resources required to support team.
</li><li>Managing the overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory related policies and procedures.
</li><li>Understanding branch sales, service, operations and financial performance.
</li><li>Demonstrating acumen in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching, colleague development, communication and presentation.
</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year or more in a goal driven retail sales leadership role or a Bachelor's Degree.
</li><li>Licenses: This position will be subject to additional background check requirements including being required to provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree and previous management experience.
</li><li>Ability to understand, drive, and lead branch sales, service, operations and financial performance within the branch and digital channels.
</li><li>Demonstrates acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching and colleague development and presentation skills.
</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
</li><li>Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
</li><li>Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
</li>Ability to develop, influence, inspire and motivate colleagues to increase retention.
