Job Description Summary
A Banquet Bartender is responsible for making and delivering drinks and serving food to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Provide food &amp; beverage service for banquet events in accordance with Hotel &amp; Banquet standards</li><li>
Follow BEO when setting up and stocking banquet bars and serving drinks.</li><li>
Follow all TABC and hotel alcohol and food safety rules and regulations.</li><li>
Assist with all other service and banquet needs as directed by the banquet captain, banquet manager, and/or chef.</li><li>
Setup action stations or the bar as directed in accordance with the beo.Serve patrons at the bar or action stations in accordance with banquet manager or captains direction.</li><li>
Setup banquet buffet displays both hot, and cold in allotted time</li><li>
Engage guest(s) at banquets events in order to determine food allergies, preferences, and dietary needs. Report those needs and preferences to the proper Banquet captain(s)</li><li>
Proper coffee brewing and tea brewing techniques are expected of all banquet staff</li><li>
Server must be familiar with seating positions for plated events as well as proper serving techniques for proper food placement at guest tables during that synchronized service</li><li>
Completes all daily side duties, post function clean up, organization, and deep cleaning of affected work areas</li><li>
Report to all necessary pre shift, and post shift meetings with banquet leadership</li><li>
Report to banquet leadership for inspection of completed work responsibilities before leaving the hotel property</li><li>
Store all banquet &amp; hotel equipment and product used in an orderly and clean fashion in accordance with banquet captain, banquet assistant manager, banquet manager, and banquet director&rsquo;s instruction.</li><li>

This team member will ensure that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the hotel are served on time and that all of IHG professional standards are upheld. 
 
Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.</li><li>
Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.</li><li>
Maintain overall presentation of banquet functions with attention to detail by ensuring that linens and chairs are clean and straight; floors, walls, and windows are clean; light bulbs are not burnt out; centerpieces are fresh (if applicable) and polished; condiments are clean and full according to standards.</li><li>
Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.</li><li>
Report to the Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.</li><li>
Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.</li><li>
Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings.</li><li>
Must follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's).</li><li>
