Job Title: Senior Barista Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Salary Range: 3,000-3,500 AEDPosition Overview:The Senior Barista at COMO Lounge is a coffee expert responsible for leading the preparation of high-quality beverages and ensuring seamless operations of the coffee station. This role involves supervising Junior Baristas, managing daily workflow, maintaining product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation:<ul><li>Prepare and craft a variety of high-quality coffee and non-coffee beverages, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.</li><li>Handle complex brewing techniques, including manual methods like pour-over and espresso calibration.</li><li>Innovate and recommend new beverages or seasonal drinks to enhance the menu.</li></ul>Leadership and Supervision:<ul><li>Train and mentor Junior Baristas, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures.</li><li>Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and technical skills.</li><li>Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.</li></ul>Stock and Inventory Management:<ul><li>Oversee stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients, ensuring they are adequately maintained.</li><li>Coordinate with the Supervisor to place orders and manage inventory.</li><li>Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly.</li></ul>Cleanliness and Maintenance:<ul><li>Ensure that the coffee station, equipment, and related areas are impeccably clean and organized at all times.</li><li>Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local health regulations.</li></ul>Customer Service:<ul><li>Interact with customers professionally, ensuring they have a memorable experience at COMO Lounge.</li><li>Address customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Build relationships with regular customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.</li></ul>Collaboration and Reporting:<ul><li>Work closely with Supervisors and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the lounge.</li><li>Assist in planning schedules and managing team performance.</li><li>Provide insights and suggestions to improve service quality and product offerings.</li></ul>Qualifications:Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Barista in a high-volume or specialty coffee environment.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Expertise in coffee brewing techniques, including manual brewing and espresso calibration.</li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to handle pressure during busy periods and maintain high-quality service.</li><li>Strong attention to detail in beverage preparation and workspace organization.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Capability to lift light to moderate weights when restocking supplies upstairs to downstairs.</li></ul>Other benefits: Monthly bonus and tipsJob Type: Full-timePay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,700.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Can you join immediately?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Senior Barista: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Al-Ayn (Required)</li></ul>
