This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment while sharing your love of coffee and food with the community.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair</li><li>Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas</li><li>Handle cash and credit card transactions confidently, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures</li><li>Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling practices to ensure quality and compliance</li><li>Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed to enhance guest experience</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a barista or tearista in a caf&eacute; or food service environment with strong coffee knowledge</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality standards</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques</li><li>Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences, enjoy working in a lively team environment, and want to grow your skills within the food industry.
