As a Bartender at GiGi&rsquo;s, you will be the heart of the nightlife experience &mdash; delivering exceptional drink service, maintaining a high-energy vibe, and creating memorable nights for our guests in a stylish, upscale lounge atmosphere featuring live DJs, hip hop performances, and premium hookah.</p><p>In this fast-paced role, you will prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, manage high-volume bar operations, provide outstanding customer service, and help foster the fun, sophisticated hip hop culture that defines GiGi&rsquo;s. You&rsquo;ll work closely with the team to ensure every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a lively nightlife environment, loves hip hop music and culture, and wants strong earning potential through competitive hourly pay plus generous tips.</p><p><b>Duties</b></p><ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.</li><li>Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills, tips, and transactions.</li><li>Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and complying with all liquor laws and regulations.</li><li>Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.</li></ul><p><b>Skills</b></p><ul><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining settings.</li><li>Previous bar experience is must.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.</li><li>Experience working in nightlife venues or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt swiftly.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and beverage calculations.</li><li>Familiarity with serving in a hospitality setting that involves catering or retail math is a plus.
