As a Bartender at The Ritz-Carlton, you will create exceptional beverage experiences by preparing and serving high-quality drinks while delivering personalized and luxury service. You will uphold Marriott International standards, ensuring every guest interaction is memorable and reflects the brand&rsquo;s excellence.</p><p>
No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success &ndash; creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Guest Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts &ndash; to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.</p><div><br>

<ul><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide engaging, personalized service to guests at the bar and restaurant</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain full knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and ingredients</li></ul>
<ul><li>Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and upsell when appropriate</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure bar setup is complete, clean, and stocked before service</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor responsible alcohol service and comply with legal regulations</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handle cash and process payments accurately</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support inventory control and report stock shortages</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate with service team to ensure smooth operations</li></ul>

The Bar Porter position provides support to the Bartenders ensuring they have the resources required to provide guests with quick and efficient beverage service according to Four Seasons standards. The Bar Porter stocks bar with ice glasses, garnish, soda and beer and ensures liquor requisitions are filled to specifications. The Bar Porter ensures the cleanliness of the bar and assists with bussing tables when required .<br>
</p></div><p></p><div><p>We are looking for individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wines and liquors is ideal. The Bar Porter requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. The ideal candidate with have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.<br>
