Achievement Behavior Services is a boutique, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy agency. As professionals, we are dedicated to the mission of connecting families with children who have varying diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to comprehensive ABA tools, principals, and practice, With every client, we aim for sustainable success and increased confidence during the learner's school-aged years. The demographic that we are students between the ages of 3 and 23 years of age. We operate at the leadership of LCSWs and BCBAs, and have been learning and growing as an ABA agency since 2015. Presently, we are seeking ABA Behavioral Technicians/Therapists (BTs) to join our network of dedicated ABA professionals. In this role, you will be working with one student 1:1 providing them with direct ABA services in collaboration with one of our many esteemed Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBAs).

In the role as an ABA Behavior Technician, you will work directly, one-on-one, with the child in their natural, home environment. You will be supported by a lead, board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) while you move through the individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that was scribed to help the student experience increased success in communication, focus, and positively adapting behaviors. According to this BIP, daily, you will collect numerical and qualitative data on these goals. The charted progress will be used to create new, personalized interventions and goals as the relationship with the student progresses from month-to-month. 
The Qualifications of a Behavior Technician:<ul><li>
Relevant Fields of Study: Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Human Services</li><li>
Relevant Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Crisis Intervention Training, Sexual Harassment and Mandated Reporter Training, CPR, AED, and First Aid Training</li><li>

</h2><div><div><div><ul><li>Write behavior support plans, monitoring plans, and behavior guidelines that enhance lives and outline the use of proactive approaches, rights restrictions, and/or psychotropic medications used to address mental health/behavioral concerns.</li><li>
Review all behavior plans and document semi-annually, and write a behavioral summary summarizing behavior documentation and relevant information per 633.16 behavior regulation requirements.</li><li>
Prepare behavior data to attend psychiatry appointments with individuals assigned to caseload. Act as a liaison maintaining contact between psychiatrists/relevant medical provider, counselors, or other mental health professionals and residential/work or day hab team.
</li><li>Provide staff with behavior documentation tools, monitor data, and address concerns as needed. In-service behavior plans as needed at staff meetings.</li><li>
Update and file to appropriate physical/digital location all required paperwork i.e. medication approval forms/reduction plans, behavior plans, summaries, semi-annual reviews, etc, with all necessary signatures/informed consents for approval.
</li><li>Interact with Human Rights Committee monthly providing all required behavior plans, medication forms, informed consents, data, and supporting documentation.
</li><li>Opportunity to become trained to teach SCIP-R/PROMOTE class, as assigned.</li><li>
Attend monthly behavior team meetings, quarterly clinical team meetings, life plan meetings, IDT&rsquo;s, intake/pre-admission meetings, and staff meetings.</li><li>
Complete residential and day hab visits/observations to assess progress/regression and provide recommendations for staff. As needed, provide consultations for individuals not on a caseload, to give recommendations to residential/day hab teams regarding supports.</li><li>
Maintain communication and collaboration with individuals&rsquo; program planning team (guardian, residential and work/day hab teams, care coordinators, clinicians and providers) providing information on supports and psychotropic medication per 633.16 regulation.
</li><li>Provide on-call support to direct support staff weekdays and occasional weekends.</li><li>
Administer assessments/evaluations of mental health status or behavioral concerns; i.e, Lethality Assessment, Motivation Assessment Scale, Reliability Assessment, Functional Behavioral Assessment, etc. as needed.</li><li>
Develop and maintain professional competency through attending conferences, seminars, and/or continuing education.</li><li>
Level 1, as assigned, provide supervision to Level 2 BIS&rsquo;s for the development of behavioral plans that do not include restrictive/intrusive interventions.</li><li>
Submit all behavior plans which incorporate a restrictive/intrusive intervention and/or limitation on a person&rsquo;s rights for review by supervising licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or licensed clinical social worker per 633.16 regulations.</li></ul>

Behavior Technician - Early Childhood Instructor

<div>As an ABA Behavior Technician/Therapist (BT) with Achievement Behavior Services, you have the opportunity to make an impact on a school-aged student with the diagnosis ASD. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate BTs to commit to one of our clients for ABA Therapy sessions on a regular, weekly schedule. In this role, you will have the support of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who will supervise your work and guide you through an individualized treatment plan (BIP) with personalized SMART goals to work on independently with the student.
