About What You&rsquo;ll Work On:
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.
Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a &ldquo;developmental disorder&rdquo; because symptoms generally appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental Health)
As a Behavior Technician,<ul><li>
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe&rsquo;s Learning Center clinic</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll relay info on your kiddos&rsquo; progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.</li><li>
At the end of each session, you&rsquo;ll accurately record the kiddo&rsquo;s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.</li><li>

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Behavior Technicians implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs with CARD patients and families under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor. Be able to work with patients who are seated on the floor, in small chairs, or other home, school, community and clinic environments</li><li>
Move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting to gather materials, anticipate, and respond to the movement of a patient, and/or provide instruction in a variety of settings, such as school, playground, clinic, or community locations</li><li>
