<div>As an ABA Behavior Technician/Therapist (BT) with Achievement Behavior Services, you have the opportunity to make an impact on a school-aged student with the diagnosis ASD. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate BTs to commit to one of our clients for ABA Therapy sessions on a regular, weekly schedule. In this role, you will have the support of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who will supervise your work and guide you through an individualized treatment plan (BIP) with personalized SMART goals to work on independently with the student. You will be collecting data and completing daily session notes in this role.

Daily Job Tasks as a Behavior Technician:

As a Behavior Technician,<ul><li>
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism at MeBe&rsquo;s Learning Center.</li><li>

<div>Position Summary
This role is a strong starting point or advancement opportunity for those interested in building a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct support to children and their families by implementing individualized ABA programs focused on skill acquisition and behavior improvement. Services take place in the client's home or within community settings, depending on treatment goals. Typical sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility based on your availability. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $27, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants.
Key Responsibilities
Behavior Technicians play a key role in helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills. About What You&rsquo;ll Work On:
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.
Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a &ldquo;developmental disorder&rdquo; because symptoms generally appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental Health)
As a Behavior Technician,<ul><li>
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe&rsquo;s Learning Center clinic</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll relay info on your kiddos&rsquo; progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.</li><li>
At the end of each session, you&rsquo;ll accurately record the kiddo&rsquo;s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Consistent availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.</li><li>
Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>
RBT/ CBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you!)</li><li>
Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.</li><li>
Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run, (without reasonable accommodations), see with prescription lenses, and hear with hearing aids.</li><li>
Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred</li><li>
Ability to pass a background check.</li><li>
Ability to work with computers.</li><li>
If residing in CA, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients</li><li>
Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent- required. A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.</li></ul>
