<div>The Behavioral Health Clinician is a Master&rsquo;s-level licensed or license-eligible therapist responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This role supports individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions and may operate across multiple service lines, including outpatient therapy, crisis assessment and intervention, and specialized programming (e.g., Applied Behavior Analysis), depending on program assignment. The Clinician promotes recovery, symptom stabilization, and improved functioning through person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed approaches, trauma-informed care)</li>
<li>Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and psychiatric assessments, including suicide and risk evaluations</li>
<li>Formulate DSM-5 diagnoses and assess appropriate levels of care using standardized tools (e.g., LOCUS)</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized, measurable treatment plans in collaboration with clients</li>
<li>Monitor client progress, adjust interventions, and support achievement of clinical goals and outcomes</li>
<li>Deliver crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services for individuals in acute distress</li>
<li>Coordinate care and facilitate referrals to appropriate levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, or inpatient services</li>
<li>Provide psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mental health conditions, coping strategies, and recovery processes</li>
<li>Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, including behavior assessments and intervention planning, when applicable to program assignment</li>
<li>Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with Rule 132, Medicaid, and other regulatory standards</li>

General Position Description: Responsible for comprehensive coordination of behavioral health services for adult and child members eligible for enrollment with public behavioral health services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assesses the member&rsquo;s behavioral health needs and eligibility for services. Assists staff in developing and monitoring member service plans.</li><li>

General Position Description: Responsible for comprehensive coordination of behavioral health services for adult and child members eligible for enrollment with public behavioral health services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assesses the member&rsquo;s behavioral health needs and eligibility for services. Assists staff in developing and monitoring member service plans.</li><li>
Provides comprehensive intakes, assessments, annual assessments, and offers therapeutic and support services. Screens, evaluates, and schedules referred members who may need behavioral health services.</li><li>
Coordinates communication between the member and other providers or community agencies to ensure coordination of care. This includes assisting with scheduling appointments, attending telemed appointments, arranging transportation, conducting CFTs and ARTS, and coordinating with the hospital for d/c appointments.</li><li>
Provides rehabilitation services that include living skills training, counseling, and supported employment services to enrolled members.</li><li>
Provides support services like case management, personal assistance, family support, peer support, respite care, and transportation services to enrolled members.</li><li>
Conduct Rapid Response and/or Intakes based on the needs of the assigned work location.</li><li>
Performs crisis intervention and solution-focused interventions.</li><li>
Maintains EBF productivity, timelines, and quality standards set forth by EBF.</li><li>
Provides complete documentation and reporting of member behavioral health services in accordance with agency and funding requirements. Maintains member records in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.</li><li>
Participates in the process of ongoing professional development and meetings. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency, members, and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct, Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED with 1 years of behavioral health or related work/volunteer experience or an Associate&rsquo;s/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Behavioral Health required. The education and experience level will determine the position level of Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or Behavioral Health Professional (BHP). Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Regulatory<ul><li>
Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
Current, unrestricted AZ driver&rsquo;s license with no more than two (2) minor moving violations or one (1) accident within the past three (3 years). Three (3) years of driving experience required.</li><li>
Transportation for daily visits, to attend trainings, and perform other work-related activities. Organizational vehicles may not be available at all times.</li><li>
Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment and regular checks for the duration of the employment.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (employer provides).</li><li>
CPR and First Aid certification (Employer provides).</li><li>
Satisfactorily Completed Competency Checklist within 3 months of hire.</li></ul>
Skills/Job Knowledge/Abilities: Must have a strong clinical knowledge of development across the life span and knowledge of best practices when working with diverse populations with trauma backgrounds. Extensive knowledge of managed care systems, AHCCCS/Title XIX medical assistance screening, and ADHS policies and practices. Able to establish and maintain a team atmosphere of communication and collaboration for all that reach out to the Department. Must be self-directed and be sensitive to cultural and linguistic diversity. Must be able to utilize DSM-5-TR to diagnose older children, adolescents and adults and the crosswalk to the DC-0-5 to provide diagnoses or diagnostic impressions for young children. Must remain calm and non-defensive with a supportive attitude during stressful, potential crisis, and crisis situations. Must be able to work in an extremely stressful environment where there are considerable mental and emotional demands. Must be able to manage high volumes and unpredictability of work. Must be able to remain flexible and reprioritize according to the changing demands of the day. Maintains a professional in appearance, communications, and actions. Be able to use excellent interpersonal communication skills. Possess a high level of computer proficiency.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Normal office environment with multiple interruptions in person and through computer and phone. Field position visiting different sites or homes for member care. Will work outside and inside environments, as needed. Daily travel to member homes and other locations. Interacts with employees and members of the public on a daily basis. Able to lift up to 50lbs to support member care. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens and forms and assess members' well-being. Able to communicate verbally with members and emergency personnel as needed for daily operations. Able to stoop, squat, reach, pull, push, stretch, ascend and descend stairs, stand and sit for long periods of time. Weekend and later hours are required.
