This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients&rsquo; lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning</li><li>Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis</li><li>Implement crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies</li><li>Facilitate telehealth sessions to expand access to care for clients in various settings while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards</li><li>Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling as appropriate</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care</li><li>Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards</li><li>Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving behavioral health interventions and patient outcomes</li><li>Provide specialized support for patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or chronic pain conditions through tailored behavioral management strategies</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited institution</li><li>Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential required by state regulations</li><li>Proven experience in clinical counseling with a focus on mental health disorders such as PTSD, addiction issues, grief, or behavioral challenges</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)</li><li>Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred</li><li>Strong crisis management skills with the ability to handle emergency situations effectively</li><li>Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation and billing purposes</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records (EMR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy</li></ul>Join us in delivering impactful mental health services that empower individuals toward healthier lives. A Brief Overview
 
 
Provides physical and psychological care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered.
 
 
What you will do 
 
 
<ul><li>Works with individual patients in a 1-on-1 setting or in a group setting that is consistent with the nursing care needs of the patient and the inter-disciplinary treatment plan.
</li><li>Participates in the daily inter-disciplinary treatment team meeting as needed, providing input in terms of patient behaviors and interactions with others.
</li><li>Implements suicide precautions as needed.
</li><li>Assesses changes in patient&rsquo;s condition/behavior and notifies RN.
</li><li>Assists with patient and family programs as well as being continually cognizant of the safety and welfare of all participants.
</li><li>Assists with the activities of daily living care of the patients to include, but not limited to: vital signs, collection of specimens, and other general nursing care procedures.
</li><li>Assesses individual patient needs and provides input in creating and modifying the nursing care plan and assists with implementing necessary therapeutic activities.
</li><li>Maintains accurate and concise records, documenting promptly all pertinent information in the patient&rsquo;s EMR.
</li><li>Assesses impending agitation and escalation of behavioral changes and participates in the behavioral management of these patients.
</li><li>Researches, plans, and implements the updating and development of new therapeutic patient groups with oversight from the Programming Committee.
