The Behavior Specialist is a trained individual who provides clinical and case management to behavior technicians and clients/families under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). <div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>
Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA</li><li>
Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader</li><li>
Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload</li><li>
Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments</li><li>
Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.</li><li>
Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.</li><li>
Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in updating behavior change plans including current progress on behavior goals and skill acquisition goals</li><li>
Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)</li><li>
Conducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring decisions in collaboration with Clinical</li><li>

Facilitates the orientation process, competency and skills validation process for behavioral direct care staff</li><li>

Minimum Requirements:</div><div><ul><li>
Must meet at least one of the following educational requirements:<ul>
<li>A master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or similar degree when allowed by state or program.</li><li>

The Mental Health Response and Intervention School Psychologist will provide on-site evidence-based mental
health/behavioral intervention to children, adolescents, and family members to include screenings, evaluations,
 
treatment plan development, and intervention. This therapeutic intervention will remove/reduce emotional
 
barriers and enhance students&rsquo; social and emotional skills thereby improving home and school functioning

1. *Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education

Position Summary:
Lifeworks is currently hiring a TBS Specialist to be a part of our growing and dynamic team! As TBS Specialist, you will provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients, their families, and/or significant others as needed. You will transition clients in community settings and work to provide support to individuals with co-occurring autism spectrum disorder and mental health diagnosis &ndash; including education and consultation &ndash; for parents and/or caregivers, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring. The TBS Specialist is expected to meet the program&rsquo;s productivity target for billable service each week. Services take place in the home, the school, and in the community. Some evening and weekend hours may apply.
Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>
Accept assignment of cases from the supervisor to provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services for clients, their families, and significant others as needed, including: community organizations, schools, other health and social service professionals, the justice system, and other agencies involved with the client.</li><li>
Accept case assignments from the clinical supervisor and jointly develop tasks and interventions that implement treatment goals.</li><li>
Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services including, but not limited to:<ul><li>
development/review of the client&rsquo;s treatment plan</li><li>
crisis work &ndash; providing assistance and support in crisis situations</li><li>
support, including education and consultation for families and/or significant others regarding the client&rsquo;s mental illness</li><li>
individual interventions</li><li>
symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms</li><li>
assistance in increasing social support skills and networks</li><li>
coordination of necessary evaluations and assessments, including referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services to avoid more restrictive levels of treatment.</li><li>
