<div>Primary Purpose:
The Interventionist Teacher promotes student achievement by providing intensive, data-driven Tier 3 academic intervention for students performing below grade-level expectations through the explicit, systematic and small-group instruction in reading and/or math. This position facilitates campus Student Support Team meetings in the decision-making processes to ensure timely implementation of interventions, accommodations, and progress monitoring data reviews that align with district expectations and are responsive to student needs.

Role Mission: The IDEA Interventionist Teacher intervenes with small groups of students who have identified gaps of 2 or more years in Reading and/or Math with the goal of closing that gap by 2 years in just one school year. The IDEA interventionist plays a crucial part in ensuring that all students are prepared to successfully participate in IDEA&rsquo;s AP for All initiative. This is an approach to academic intervention used to provide systematic, and appropriately intensive assistance to children who are at risk for or already underperforming as compared to appropriate grade- or age-level standards. Intervention teachers will use universal screening, Direct Instruction intervention, frequent progress monitoring, and increasingly intensive research-based instruction and interventions for students who continue to have difficulty.

Compensation:
<ul><li>The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $57,500. This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer additional performance-based compensation. Additional hourly compensation is provided for after school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.</li></ul>

Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)</li><li>
Hours: Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs</li><li>
Work Setting &mdash; you&rsquo;ll primarily provide services in client&rsquo;s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client&rsquo;s needs</li><li>
Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn</li></ul><ul><li>
Compensation: $22.50-$28/hr</li></ul><ul><li>
Training will be compensated at the same hourly rate as the clinical role.</li></ul>
