 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 The Psychology Instructor is responsible to the Division Dean for the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in Psychology courses and advisement of students in the Associate of Arts/Sciences Programs. Responsibilities occur in the areas of instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, professional development, college/community service, and instructional management.

 Instructional Development:

 Work with members of the Arts and Sciences Advisory Committee to participate in planning for new and existing programs and courses.

 Assist in the development of Psychology curricula for students in all college programs.

 Assist in the refinement of curricula for Psychology courses.

What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Description:
Adjunct instructors will teach courses related to Applied Behavior Analysis/Autism. Adjuncts teaching graduate level courses must have at least a doctoral degree in ABA, psychology, education, special education, or closely related field from an accredited institution and have current certifications as BCBA/BCBA-D., and Indiana state licensure as a behavior analyst.
All qualified candidates must be in good standing with BACB and faculty must have Indiana state licensure.
Faculty will be responsible for teaching scheduled courses on a weekly basis, grading, providing quality feedback on assignments, hosting weekly office hours, and responding to students in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications: Adjuncts teaching graduate level courses must have a doctoral degree in special education or closely related field from an accredited institution and current certification as a BCBA, and be licensed as a behavior analyst with the state of Indiana
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching graduate level online courses and at least three years experience as a BCBA.

<div><div><div>Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist I to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.</div></div><div>

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement</li>
<li>Assist the team in providing on-going assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions</li>
<li>Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals</li>
<li>Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.</li>
<li>Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments</li></ul></div>

<div><div>Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field</li>
<li>Experience working with adults with mental illness</li>
<li>Valid Massachusetts drivers license</li></ul></div>
