Requirements</h2><div>
Required Knowledge and Skills
 Benefits insurance industry experience with knowledge of employer group insurance marketplace
 Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools
 Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
 Analytical and critical thinker with ability to conduct independent research
 Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage a large workload
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to effectively explain complex information both verbally and in writing
 Strong editing and proofreading skills
 Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
 Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
 Ability to follow existing processes, procedures, and verbal instruction
 Ability to manage multiple priorities, accurately, efficiently, and independently 
License and Certification Requirements
 Valid WI driver's license and acceptable driving history
 Current licensure or ability to obtain Life &amp; Health Resident Intermediary granted by the State of Wisconsin</div> 

<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Responsibilities</h2><div>
 Primary contact for all day-to-day service issues and other inquiries for assigned clients
 Liaison between client and vendors/carriers to resolve issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
 Tracks, manages, and documents open issues keeping the client and agent informed on status and resolution
 Coordinates marketing projects by gathering required employee and plan documentation such as census data, experience data, current and proposed plan design information
 Quotes, analyzes, and compares health, individual and ancillary quotes
 Manages renewal timeline to ensure timely execution of client decisions
 Prepares summaries of insurance, renewals, schedules, and proposals
 Reviews client contracts and policies for accuracy
 Supports agents with new and renewal business presentations as needed
 Coordinates enrollment and informational meetings between client and carrier
 Maintains agency management system with up-to-date and accurate information
 Builds and maintains strong customer relationships through pro-active communication
 Communicates and educates clients on latest industry trends, issues, and changes</div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">

Job Summary:<ul><li>
Consult with assigned clients on issues regarding their self-funded health plan, including claim processing, renewals, enrollment, service levels, contracts, plan documents, amendments, etc.</li><li>
Communicate with external customers (group contacts, employees, vendors, brokers) and internal team members (claims, enrollment, accounting, stop loss, compliance and marketing).</li><li>
Respond to client requests in a quality and timely manner.</li></ul>
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Work closely with sales consultants to transition new clients to Auxiant.</li><li>
Handle essential functions on client renewals.</li><li>
Develop and maintain positive client relations to ensure business retention.</li><li>
Proactively monitor customer satisfaction through regularly scheduled communications (i.e., enrollment meetings, service visits, telephone contact, or written correspondence).</li><li>
Develop, recommend, and implement appropriate actions as needed to resolve client dissatisfaction.</li><li>
Educate and update clients about Auxiant&rsquo;s services and products.</li><li>
Ensure internal and external documents are prepared to be in compliance with the Plan (i.e., plan document, amendments, transmittals, administrative agreements, etc.).</li><li>
Interact with external customers in a social setting.</li></ul>

Education/Qualifications:<ul><li>
Knowledge of self-funded or fully-insured health plans (HIPAA, DOL regulations, ERISA, medical terminology and claims processing preferred but not required).</li><li>
PC skills including Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).</li><li>
Previous experience in a professional office environment.</li><li>
Previous experience with customer relations.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and presentation skills.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task.</li><li>
Willingness to travel as needed.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>

Position Summary:

The Account Manager position is an integral part of a eight-person team. The role is central within the organization and is responsible for managing relationships with corporate clients and overseeing internal operations among different functional groups.

This is a full-time role with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The position is hybrid and based out of New York City. During the first three months of employment, the individual will be expected to work onsite up to three days per week for training. After this initial period, the ongoing onsite schedule will be determined at the manager&rsquo;s discretion.
Please note: While the role is hybrid, we will also consider experienced candidates working fully remotely, following an Eastern Time Zone schedule.

Position Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

<li>Interact daily with Benefit / Human Resource contacts at large corporate clients and top law firms providing administration and client service support for their individual disability insurance benefits.</li>
<li>Coordinate annual enrollment and communication campaigns to executives of our corporate clients.</li>
<li>Analyze census data from our corporate clients and determine eligible executive populations for enrollment campaigns.</li>
<li>Handle inquiries from eligible executives about the disability insurance being offered through our enrollments.</li>
<li>Team with our IT Group to develop reports for our corporate clients.</li>
</ul>
