The RBT&rsquo;s primary responsibility is to provide therapy and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by BCBAs to improve socially significant behaviors.</li><li>Collaborate with clients in both one-on-one and group settings to teach new skills, address challenging behaviors, and foster independence.</li><li>Collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions to track progress.</li><li>Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).</li><li>Communicate supervisors (BCBAs), team members, and family members regarding client progress and any challenges encountered.</li><li>Participate in supervision sessions and regular supervision sessions with a BCBA to review progress and refine techniques.</li><li>Use positive reinforcement techniques and other evidence-based behavior intervention techniques to support client goals.</li><li>Maintain safe and supportive environments for clients according to HIPAA and other confidentiality standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma (bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred in psychology, education, or a related field).</li><li>Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or the ability to obtain certification within a specific time frame</li><li>Experience with developmental disabilities or in behavior therapy (preferred).</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.</li><li>Patience and empathy in challenging situations.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and adapt to individualized client needs.</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and accept constructive feedback.</li><li>Working Conditions:</li><li>Various settings: homes, schools, clinics, community environments.</li><li>Physical requirements include the ability to engage in activities with clients, including sitting, standing, and occasionally lifting or moving individuals as necessary.</li><li>May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.</li></ul>Salary: Starting at $38-$40 an hour, based on experience and location.Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 6:30pm Saturday 10-3Job Type: Part-time.Reports to: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or supervising behavior analyst.Job Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Required)</li><li>English (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>RBT Certification (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
