Job Description 
AECOM is seeking a versatile BIM Specialist IV to join our innovative Advisory business line. Based in NYC, you will blend hands-on technical execution with strategic advisory leadership, leading and/ or supporting digital aspects of project delivery on large-scale, complex projects. You will partner with teams and clients to shape BIM/ VDC strategies, workflows, and digital transformation initiatives. You are equally comfortable with model building and workflow automation as you are advising stakeholders on BIM standards, best practices, and data strategies.

Qualifications 
Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.</li><li>
Experience with Autodesk Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks), Power BI, and Digital Twin Technologies.</li><li>
Proven experience as a BIM Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or Digital Delivery specialist in AEC environments, supporting multidisciplinary project teams.</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Proven technical leadership with strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and process improvement skills.</li><li>
Experience with Synchro 4D preferred.</li><li>

In this role you will be delivering charged Modeling Services on BIM projects and create/modify typical families based on existing Revit content provided by the BIM CC, in collaboration with external BIM Modelers.

<ul><li>Support the BIM Project Manager and Lead Engineer; with an assessment on the quality and availability of information in the models provided by the customer and with quoting/estimating our modelling services for the project,</li>
<li>Based on the &ldquo;Framework&rdquo; provided by the BIM Project manager and inclusive &ldquo;Design service&rdquo; provided by Lead Engineer perform our Modelling Services (Modeling itself &amp; Output creation) based on modeling guideline provided by PMO processes and in collaboration with External BIM Modelers,</li>
<li>Communicate to the Lead Engineer when specific applications exceed the technical design provided,</li>
<li>Perform clash detection, resolve clashes within Hilti discipline, if possible, within provided technical design and report further clashes to Lead Engineer,</li>
<li>Perform QA/QC continuously to deliver BIM Modeling &amp; BIM Output services with high quality by following our workflow and customer requirements,</li>
<li>Collaborate with other Modelers in case of simultaneous modeling in common environment (e.g. BIM360),</li>
<li>Follows processes setup by PMO and actively collaborate and give feedback to improve them,</li>
<li>Contribute to a professional, standardized portfolio of software supporting all modeling use-cases,</li>
<li>Ensure proper documentation along workflow,</li>
<li>Professionally record your hours spent on the project and share them with the respective Project Manager and Team Lead on an agreed and regular basis,</li>
<li>For highly complex cases beyond current competence proactively involve BMO of BIM Competence Center,</li>
<li>Establish excellent working relationships with PMO and functional counterparts in regions,</li>
<li>Create open working climate through integration and motivation of others,</li>
<li>Full compliant BIM modeling according customer needs described in Framework via BIM Project Manager,</li>
<li>Modeling according general Hilti guidelines and provided Designs via BIM Lead Engineer,</li>

Position Summary
 A BIM Technician III takes a lead role in providing advanced technical expertise and support in the development and coordination of complex 3D models for engineering projects. This position requires a deep understanding of BIM processes, software and expertise in troubleshooting to ensure the seamless and successful execution of projects.
 Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
 BIM Model Creation & Maintenance
 <ul>
<li>Prepares layouts, details, schedules, drawings and other documents of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration, technology and/or electrical systems.</li>
<li>Creates project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to incorporate project requirements and standards. Implements complex BEP objectives and guidelines into the BIM workflow and communicates BEP-related information effectively to project team.
