Position Summary
 A BIM Technician III takes a lead role in providing advanced technical expertise and support in the development and coordination of complex 3D models for engineering projects. This position requires a deep understanding of BIM processes, software and expertise in troubleshooting to ensure the seamless and successful execution of projects.
 Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
 BIM Model Creation & Maintenance
 <ul>
<li>Prepares layouts, details, schedules, drawings and other documents of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration, technology and/or electrical systems.</li>
<li>Creates project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to incorporate project requirements and standards. Implements complex BEP objectives and guidelines into the BIM workflow and communicates BEP-related information effectively to project team. <li>Performs or directs model setup tasks including but not limited to base cleaning, sheet setup and view setup. Ensures that BIM models adhere to established industry and organizational standards.</li>

<li>Prepares or reviews regular reports of BIM models of complex projects or programs to assess their health, integrity and compliance with project standards. Identifies and addresses issues affecting model health and collaborates with the project team to implement necessary improvements.</li>
<li>Generates clash reports to identify clashes within BIM models. Utilizes clash detection tools and collaborates with project teams to address clashes effectively.</li>

 Minimum 7 years' experience in BIM coordination within construction projects, with strong exposure to ELV and/or MEP systems.

Assistant BIM/VDC Manager implements BIM, Technology, and related processes and serves as a primary resource to project teams during all phases of the project. The Assist BIM/VDC Manager is involved in project pursuits and developing BIM strategies for proposals. This role helps lead the development of models, and marketing materials. The Assist BIM/VDC Manager ensures project success through monitoring the progress of BIM workflows, serving as the liaison between Balfour Beatty, the client, end user, designers (architectural and engineering firms), and subcontractors. The top priority of the Senior BIM/VDC Specialist is ensuring that our team is meeting the client's needs and expectations for implementing BIM and technology.
 
The Assistant BIM/VDC Manager is involved in training new hires, and project teammates on BIM tools to ensure maximum benefits, and building software libraries.
 The Assistant BIM/VDC Manager is also responsible for providing support to the BIM Manager in the management, direction, and implementation of our BIM Process on projects. The Assistant BIM/VDC Manager has the responsibility to accurately and fully inform the BIM/VDC Manager of each pursuit and project’s overall BIM efforts, including potential liabilities and/or concerns with designers, subcontractors, and other model stakeholders.
 
Essential Functions
 
Marketing

<li>Create required 2D & 3D proposal/presentation content to demonstrate the company’s ability with technology and tools.</li>

Modeling

<li>Create project-specific BIM Execution plans and lead the BIM implementation as defined by the plan (under the support of the assigned BIM/VDC Manager).</li>

<li>Create and Manage a master composite model with associated clash and viewpoint reports.</li>

<li>Prepare 4D animations for schedule analysis and high-quality rendered images used for use in communicating construction sequences or various building conditions.</li>

Reality Capture

<li>Know how to use and set up laser scanning, 360 camera, and drone.</li>
<li>Register and process the point cloud, and put the reality capture into the appropriate platform for coordination, installation quality control, and documentation.</li>

Automation
