About the Role:

The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments, and be willing to train in our Spa&rsquo;s specific massage and body treatment offerings. In addition, they must be able to learn the products and services and effectively communicate to meet the needs of our guests.

Essential Functions:

<li>Arrives on time for your shift, acting promptly with each appointment, and performs services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.</li>
<li>Provides consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Spa protocols and accepted certification practices.</li>
<li>Informs and educates our guests about specific wellness concerns effectively.</li>
<li>Cares for equipment properly and uses proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.</li>
<li>Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa&rsquo;s policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Performs prep work and properly cleans and restocks work area as required.</li>
<li>Keeps all spa areas clean and stocked, including employee lounge, prep area, and bathrooms.
</li><li>Communicates to Management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.</li>
<li>Promotes the Spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as fitness programs, promotions and/or discounts available actively.</li>

Punctuality:

All Massage Therapists are expected to arrive 20 minutes prior to their scheduled shifts in order to prepare treatment room for the shift.
