<p><b>Industrial Boiler Coded Welder &ndash; Industrial Boiler Repair</b></p><p><b>Candidate will be asked to complete a weld test: Overhead plate 14mm thick, 7016 low hydrogen route and 7018 low hydrogen fill and cap. Full penetration weld and all to be stick welded only</b></p><p><b>This role is based in Halesowen, West Midlands so the candidate will need to located within a reasonable distance as attending our offices will be required, however this will not be on a daily basis</b></p><p>The main focus of the role is to carry out repairs to industrial steam boilers at our customer sites throughout the UK. There will be a requirement to work away as and when advised to meet customer needs.</p><p>The candidate will need to have a good level of engineering skills and coded welding experience to 6G preferable. Welding is predominately carbon steel MMA using low hydrogen electrodes. Brunswick Thunder Jet Operations is looking for individuals to join our team who are proud of our incredible legacy and share in our vision to create life-long memories on the water!</p><p>As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, you will be required to perform various levels of MIG and TIG welding while manufacturing Thunder Jet boats.</p><p><b>At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. </b></p><p>Essential Functions:</p><ul><li>Complete required documentation of welded boats for production purposes</li><li>Responsible for compliance to safety policies and procedures, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion.</li><li>Perform MIG and TIG welding of aluminum boats (hulls, bottoms, parts) according to drawings and specifications.</li><li>Use a skill saw, and band saw safely.</li></ul><p><b>Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. </b></p><ul><li>Have basic understanding on how to MiG weld aluminum (tacking parts, basic stitch weld, and stringer welds.)</li><li>Ability to follow established safety processes to handle chemicals and equipment to weld aluminum.</li><li>Must be able to read drawings and specifications.</li><li>Dependable daily attendance is required.</li><li>Work overtime to meet production needs.</li><li>Preform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Maintain good attendance.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Three to twelve months experience in a manufacturing setting.</li><li>Should be familiar with weld shop safety protocols.</li><li>Welding Certification from accredited college is desired.</li><li>Self-starter, team player with high focus on safe and effective job performance</li><li>Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS</li></ul><p>Working Conditions:</p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers.</li><li>The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.</li><li>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.</li></ul><p>The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 3 thru 5 $20.95-$25.00 The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.</p><p>At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
