<div><p>The Branch Operations Assistant addresses all customer and branch inquiries under the direction of the Branch Supervisor and assigned Branch Manager including all clerical duties needed in the office, performing various yard functions, including Loader Operation, to ensure that all key information is recorded on incoming vehicles and assist with upkeep and maintenance of these vehicles throughout the sale process.</p><p><b>
About the team - Yard Operations</b></p>

We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction &ndash; from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.</p><ul>
<li>Provide various customer support services through mail, telephone, and direct personal contact.</li>
<li>Process orders and assignments and enter data into the computer system.</li>
<li>Reference pricing and delivery information.</li>
<li>Respond to customer questions, complaints, and requests.</li>
<li>Perform word processing assignments, filing, and related clerical duties.</li>
<li>Process all necessary paperwork for auction day, securing necessary approvals.</li>
<li>Follow well-established procedures and under the close direction of the supervisor.</li>
<li>Open to learning automobile titling.</li>
<li>Assist with other office functions as needed.</li>
<li>Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information on vehicles being assigned to the facility.</li>
<li>Detail (thoroughly clean) vehicles to improve their appearance to enhance their value at auction.</li>
<li>Safely operate passenger vehicles to move the vehicles around the facility and store them in the appropriate locations at the branch.</li>
<li>Assist visitors by providing appropriate guidance and/or directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance.</li>
<li>Experienced loader operation.</li>
<li>Able and willing to report all violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager, immediately.</li>
<li>Subject matter expert for Yard Attendants, Loader Operators, and Customer Service Representatives</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned per business needs.</li>

<li>Ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in problem resolution.</li>
<li>Excellent professional communication skills to interact effectively with customers &amp; towers &ndash; both verbal and written.</li>
<li>Willing to learn how to operate a forklift (Within 90 days of starting position).</li>
<li>General mechanical knowledge of makes and models of vehicles required.</li>
<li>Experience in the equipment rental or construction industry and/or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Basic automotive repair skills preferred.</li>
<li>Previous forklift operating experience.</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills are required with above-average proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles operated in their work area.</li>
<li>This position involves outdoor work in all types of weather.</li>
