Job Objective<ul><li>
Support the Regional Budget &amp; Reporting Manager and the Regional CFO on their responsibilities relating to the reporting process for actuals, budget, and forecast.</li><li>
Coordinate with the different contributors to the reporting cycle and proceed to the timely update of the reporting within the tools used by Thales,</li><li>
Prepare the documentation used by the Regional Management (Regional VP, Regional CFO) during monthly performance update review (BOR) with Thales Management,</li><li>
Prepare, provide and present analysis that are reliable, relevant and accurate to all Finance, and non-Finance stakeholders, necessary for decision making,</li><li>
Contribute to the ramping-up of the Finance Function for the Region, by improving the quality, harmonizing, standardizing and simplifying the analysis provided to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders, contributing to the deployment of the tools and reporting process defined by Thales and proposing improvements to the Finance processes.</li></ul>
The Responsibilities that the Junior Budgeting and Reporting Controller can be summarized into three main categories:<ul><li>

This also includes ad-hoc analysis and the consolidation of financial data gathered from the different entities and businesses across the Region 
1 &ndash; REPORTING: 
BORs (Business Operations Reviews): the BOR is a monthly review that presents the financial data of the month to both the Local and Corporate Top Management. 
The Junior Budgeting and Reporting Controller responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Reading and understanding the BOR instructions &amp; calendar, to translate it to clear guidelines to all different stakeholder (VP, COO, PMO, Bids, etc&hellip;),</li><li>
Having ownership of the BOR documentation preparation and reporting in Magnitude,</li><li>
Consolidating and understanding the supporting documents and comments coming from the businesses and multiple stakeholders,</li><li>
Providing valuable insights on the Region performance through quality comments included in the BOR on key variations between targets and achievements,</li><li>
Ensuring adequacy of figures in various dashboards (OCF, WCR, Order Intake, Revenues),</li></ul>
2 &ndash;CONTROLLING 
Budget &amp; Operation Controlling responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide the Region Management with timely and reliable analysis on performance achievements,</li><li>
Assist in all other ad-hoc reports upon Management request.</li></ul>
3 &ndash; DIGITALIZATION 
ERP and tools management and development:<ul><li>
Ensure the proper use of Magnitude and Anaplan and support the on-going development of new modules and tools,</li><li>
Contribute to the development and improvement of the existing templates and tools currently used by the finance teams.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Excel, ability to design and create consolidation files and templates.</li></ul>
Qualification<ul><li>
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in similar positions</li><li>
Knowledge of IFRS</li><li>
Experience in MNC with multidimensional reporting organization</li><li>
Prior experience managing budgets, conducting in-depth financial analysis and submitting recommendations for consideration</li><li>
Bachelor degree in Accounting / Audit or corporate Finance (mandatory)</li><li>
Master degree in Accounting / Audit or corporate Finance (preferred)</li><li>
Controlling or Accounting certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) (preferred)</li></ul>
