A Data Center Operating Engineer will be responsible to assist in the hands-on maintenance of building systems for the safe, efficient, and proper operations of all assigned properties. Civil Maintenance &amp; Repair Works<ul><li>Execute concrete repair works (epoxy injection, jacketing, grouting, patching)</li><li>Maintain steel structures exposed to heat, vibration, and corrosion</li><li>Oversee painting and coating systems for structures in high‑temperature zones</li><li>Maintain drainage systems, stormwater channels, culverts, and plant roads</li><li>Repair and maintain cooling water structures, sumps, trenches, and chemical containment areas</li><li>Support repairs of GT/ST/HRSG foundations, anchor bolts, and embedded plates</li></ul>3. Outage &amp; Shutdown Support<ul><li>Prepare civil maintenance scope for GT, ST, and HRSG outages</li><li>Coordinate with mechanical teams during major overhauls (CI, HGPI, MI)</li><li>Ensure safe access (scaffolding, platforms) for HRSG inspections</li><li>Develop method statements, risk assessments, and work permits</li><li>Prioritize critical civil tasks to align with outage windows</li></ul>4. Contractor &amp; Site Management<ul><li>Supervise civil maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with plant standards</li><li>Verify material quality, workmanship, and adherence to specifications</li><li>Review contractor BOQs, technical submittals, and invoices</li><li>Ensure safe execution of works in live plant areas</li></ul>5. Documentation &amp; Asset Management<ul><li>Maintain inspection logs, repair history, and as‑built documentation</li><li>Use CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle EAM) for work orders and preventive maintenance</li><li>Prepare technical reports, repair proposals, and cost estimates</li><li>Update civil drawings and asset condition records</li></ul>6. Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, hot work)</li><li>Implement environmental controls during repair activities</li><li>Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills</li><li>Ensure safe access around HRSG, GT, and ST areas during maintenance</li></ul>Required Technical Skills<ul><li>Structural inspection and NDT techniques</li><li>Concrete and steel repair methodologies</li><li>Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASTM, and coating standards (SSPC/NACE)</li><li>Familiarity with CCPP systems: GT, ST, HRSG, ACC/cooling towers, BOP structures</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro (for structural checks), and CMMS tools</li><li>Understanding of drainage, water systems, and industrial infrastructure</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>3&ndash;10 years of civil maintenance experience in CCPPs, thermal plants, refineries, or heavy industry</li><li>Experience with vibration‑sensitive structures and high‑temperature zones</li><li>Certifications in NDT, coating inspection, or safety (advantageous)</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills</li><li>Ability to work safely in live plant environments</li><li>Effective communication and contractor management</li><li>High attention to detail and strong safety mindset</li></ul>Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
