Job summary: The Role of the Maintenance Superintendent is to provide expertise required to support safe, successful execution, definition, problem solving, reliability and coordination of shift maintenance related work activities
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Leading the maintenance team to work injury-free / incident free in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ensure safety excellence leading by example, promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implementing the appropriate mitigation strategies based on the risk involved.</li><li>Supervising and coordinating maintenance efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting HSE, reliability, quality, production, and cost.</li><li>Responsible for the performance and development of the shift maintenance crews by demonstrating strong leadership skills and habits of &ldquo;best practice.&rdquo;</li><li>Ensuring that follow-up RCAs are completed to identify and resolve recurring downtime and or inefficient operational issues.</li><li>Ensuring that maintenance team appropriately use CMMS.</li><li>Coordinate and plan preventative outages; guarantee the creation of WO though CMMS, and conduct pre- and post-outage meetings.</li><li>Manage area KPI&rsquo;s: HSE, Downtime, outage efficient, FA and ABC action plan</li><li>Communicate regularly with all levels of the plant.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Job specifications<ul><li>BS in engineering or related field is required or provide experience in similar positions.</li><li>At least five years of reliability experience</li><li>Full competency with MS Office and general computer operations</li><li>Must have 5+ years&rsquo; experience supervising in an industrial manufacturing environment. POSITION SUMMARY
 The Property Engineer (PE) oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance and grounds department in support of an OAK property. The PE leads a team of Maintenance Engineers and Groundskeepers to keep the property clean, safe, well-maintained and in good working order. They ensure all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are completed in a timely manner and are safety compliant. They also use technical skills to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and other documents related to their work. The PE has a customer friendly attitude with a focus on responding to guest requests and repair needs. They will perform advanced troubleshooting of campground Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The PE will train and mentor a diverse group of other engineers and groundskeepers.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES

<li>Enforce and follow proper use of the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.</li>
<li>Oversee and complete maintenance request and repairs in a timely manner and in order of priority.</li>

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Minimum two years experience in a supervisory or higher role in maintenance or related field.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of the English language.</li>
<li>Strong decision-making ability.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills with ability to manage confrontation.</li>
<li>Ability to motivate, lead and develop a diverse team.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing procedures.</li>

<li>Ability to read and maintain a budget.</li>

<li>Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

<li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.</li>
<li>Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and move safely over uneven terrain.</li>
<li>Able to work inside and outdoors and in various climates.</li>
<li>Able to travel by airplane and automobile.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Appropriate educational administration degree</li><li>
Appropriate state licensure</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience</li><li>
Possess positive collaborative and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Proven leadership skills</li></ul> 
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:<ul><li>
Provide leadership and direction to the district fiscal management program.</li><li>
Provide leadership and direction to the district&rsquo;s facilities program.</li><li>
Provide leadership and direction to the district&rsquo;s support services programs including transportation, child nutrition, maintenance, custodial and grounds, health services, clerical, technology, and student activities.</li><li>
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.</li></ul> 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Oversee the development, management, monitoring and reporting requirements of the district business services office.</li><li>
Administratively supervise athletic programs and extracurricular activities.</li><li>
Administratively supervise the district's grounds, custodial and maintenance programs.</li><li>
Administratively supervise the district's transportation program.</li><li>
Administratively supervise the district's child nutrition, health services, and technology programs.</li><li>
Administratively supervise district-wide externally funded programs.</li><li>
Assume responsibility for the comprehensive overall planning and scheduling of maintenance and repair requirements of the district.</li><li>
Prepare and administer the budget for maintenance, grounds, transportation, custodial, food service, and technology operations.</li><li>
Maintain long-term facilities plans including care of school district buildings, new construction, land, campuses, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>
Supervise and inspect the improvement and renovation work performed by outside contractors, and verify that the terms of all such contracts have been fulfilled before authorizing final payments.</li><li>
Disseminate district crises plans and provide in-service to ensure systematic implementation of processes and procedures.</li><li>
Determine and establish detailed specifications pertaining to supplies, materials, equipment, and local contract work.</li><li>
Follow the district's purchasing policy when spending district funds.</li><li>
Keep the superintendent informed of problems and/or potential problems as they arise.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
 Salary: Applicable experience and educational level on certified salary schedule with a multiplier of 1.87500
