JOB SUMMARY:</b> Under general supervision of the Building Maintenance Supervisor, this position provides technical maintenance/repair of airport facilities and performs related duties as required or directed.</p><br>

Services and maintains all HVAC equipment to include boilers, Roof Top Handling Units, split systems, circulation pumps, compressors, and chillers.</p><br>

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:</b><b> </b>Work is performed in both office and outdoor environments, and involves exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, to visually detect damage, deterioration, or defects in airport and airfield structures, fixtures, and furnishings which could potentially impact safe airport operations. Must have sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices, to decipher radio communications, hear alarms, other warning signals, and vehicle signals indicating backward or forward motion. Must be able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels and must be able to work in close proximity to 480 volt power sources. Position is subject to shift work outside traditional hours, emergency call out, and extended operating days. Position will experience short notice shift changes. As a <b>Maintenance Technician</b>, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and in good condition.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems</li><li>
Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances</li><li>
Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed</li><li>
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies</li><li>
Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed</li><li>
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies</li><li>
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs</li><li>
Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly</li><li>
Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary</li><li>
Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus</li><li>
Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field</li><li>
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces</li><li>
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license (if travel between sites is required)</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and time management skills</li><li>
Good communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul><p><b>
